Attorney Advertising. freelegalquote.com, LLC operates FreeLegalQuote.com, an attorney-matching and legal marketing service. It is not a law firm, it is not a lawyer referral service certified or approved by any state bar, it does not provide legal advice, and it is not a substitute for an attorney. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and freelegalquote.com, LLC, a limited liability company that operates FreeLegalQuote.com and 1-800-WE-FIGHT (“freelegalquote.com, LLC,” “FreeLegalQuote,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of freelegalquote.com (the “Site”), our phone line, and our related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. What We Do
2.1 For consumers
We help people find attorneys. When you call us or complete our online form, we review your information and try to match you with one or more independent attorneys or law firms in our network who handle your type of matter in your area, so they can contact you about a free consultation or a free legal quote. Our service is free to consumers. Participating attorneys pay us for advertising, marketing, and lead-generation services, as explained in Sections 7 and 8.
2.2 For attorneys and law firms
We also sell lead-generation packages, AI automation services, and website audits to law firms. Section 7 applies to lead purchases and promotions. Paid services are also governed by any order form, proposal, or service agreement you sign with us. If those documents conflict with these Terms, the signed agreement controls.
3. Important Legal Disclaimers
- We are not a law firm. freelegalquote.com, LLC and its staff do not practice law or represent anyone.
- No legal advice. Content on the Site, including articles, videos, blog posts, and anything said by our staff, is general information only. It is not legal advice and should not be relied on for your specific situation.
- No attorney-client relationship. Using the Services, submitting a form, or calling us does not create an attorney-client relationship with us or with any attorney. That relationship begins only when you and an attorney both agree to it, usually in a written engagement agreement.
- Confidentiality. Information you send us is not protected by attorney-client privilege. Do not send confidential or time-sensitive information until you have spoken with an attorney.
- Independent attorneys. Attorneys in our network are independent. They are not our employees, partners, or agents. We do not supervise their work, and listing or matching an attorney is not an endorsement or recommendation of that attorney’s skill or quality.
- Your decision. You alone decide whether to hire any attorney. You are not obligated to hire anyone we match you with, and you should do your own research, including checking the attorney’s standing with the state bar.
- No guarantee. We do not guarantee that an attorney will contact you, accept your matter, offer a free consultation, or achieve any result. Fees, consultations, and terms are set by each attorney.
- Deadlines. Legal claims have strict time limits. Using our Services does not stop any deadline from running. If your matter is urgent, contact an attorney directly right away.
- Attorney advertising. Parts of the Site may be considered attorney advertising under the rules of some states. We are not a lawyer referral service certified, registered, or approved by any state bar unless we state otherwise. See Section 8 for state-specific disclosures.
- Emergencies. If you are in danger, call 911.
4. Who May Use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. A parent or legal guardian may submit a request about a minor. You agree to give accurate, current information and to submit requests only for yourself or for someone you are authorized to act for. The Services are intended for use in the United States.
5. Consent to Be Contacted by Phone, Text Message, and Email
This Section is part of your agreement with freelegalquote.com, LLC. Please read it carefully. Our Privacy Policy contains a matching disclosure.
5.1 Your express written consent
When you check the consent box on our request form (or otherwise give consent in writing, including by electronic signature), and then submit your request, you give your prior express written consent, as that term is used in the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227, and the Federal Communications Commission’s rules at 47 C.F.R. § 64.1200, and under similar state laws, to receive marketing and informational calls and text messages from freelegalquote.com, LLC and from the participating attorneys and law firms matched to your request, at the telephone number you provide (including a mobile number), about your request and about attorney consultations, free legal quotes, and related legal services. You agree that these calls and messages may be made or sent:
- using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology, including an automated system for the selection or dialing of telephone numbers;
- using an artificial or prerecorded voice, including a voice generated or cloned by artificial intelligence, or a voicemail left without the phone ringing (“ringless” voicemail), where the law allows; and
- as automated text messages (SMS or MMS), including messages with links, images, or short forms.
Your check of the box and your click to submit serve as your electronic signature under the federal E-SIGN Act and applicable state electronic signature laws. We keep a record of the consent language shown, the date and time, and the page you used.
5.2 Consent is not a condition of purchase
You are not required to give this consent to buy any goods or services, to use the Site, or to hire any attorney. If you do not want to consent, leave the consent box unchecked and instead call us at 1-800-WE-FIGHT (1-800-933-4448) or email legalquote@gmail.com, and we will work with you through the channel you choose.
5.3 Do Not Call lists
Because you are asking to be contacted about your legal matter, your consent applies even if your number is listed on the National Do Not Call Registry, a state do-not-call list, or any internal do-not-call list, until you revoke it. You can still revoke your consent at any time, as explained in Section 5.6.
5.4 Your phone number
You confirm that you are the subscriber or the customary user of the number you provide, that you are at least 18 years old, and that you are authorized to consent to calls and texts at that number. Do not enter anyone else’s number. If your number changes, is disconnected, or is reassigned to someone else, you agree to tell us promptly by replying STOP, calling us, or emailing us, so we can stop contacting that number. You agree that you will not submit a number to cause calls or texts to someone who has not agreed to them, and you are responsible for any claims that result if you do.
5.5 Message frequency, charges, and timing
- Frequency varies depending on your request and how you interact with us and the attorneys. You may receive several calls or messages shortly after you submit a request.
- Message and data rates may apply under your wireless plan. You are responsible for any charges from your carrier.
- Time of day. We aim to place marketing calls and texts only during the hours that applicable federal and state law allow in your local time zone (see Section 5.10). If you ask us to call or text at a specific time, you agree we may do so.
- Who is contacting you. Calls and texts from us will identify freelegalquote.com, LLC or 1-800-WE-FIGHT. Calls and texts from an attorney matched to your request will come from that attorney or law firm, which is responsible for its own compliance with telemarketing laws.
5.6 How to revoke consent or opt out
You may revoke your consent at any time, by any reasonable means, including:
- replying STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text message from us;
- telling the caller during any call that you do not want further calls;
- calling 1-800-WE-FIGHT (1-800-933-4448); or
- emailing legalquote@gmail.com with the phone number you want removed.
We will honor your request as soon as practicable and within the time the law requires. After you text STOP, we may send one final text confirming that you have opted out. Opting out of messages from us does not automatically stop messages from an attorney you were already matched with; to stop those, reply STOP to that attorney’s messages or contact the attorney directly. If you tell us, we will also pass your opt-out request along to the attorneys we shared your request with.
5.7 Call recording and monitoring
Calls with freelegalquote.com, LLC, including calls handled by automated or AI-assisted voice systems, may be recorded, monitored, and transcribed for quality, training, compliance, record-keeping, and to route your request. Some states require the consent of every person on a call before it is recorded (see Section 5.10). By calling us, staying on a call after being told it may be recorded, or submitting a request with the consent box checked, you consent to recording, monitoring, and transcription. If you do not want to be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will either stop recording or help you by email instead. Participating attorneys may have their own recording practices and will give their own notices.
5.8 Email
By giving us your email address, you agree that freelegalquote.com, LLC and the attorneys matched to your request may email you about your request. We may also send you marketing emails. Every marketing email from us will identify us, include a valid way to contact us, and include an unsubscribe link, as required by the federal CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7701 and following). We will process unsubscribe requests within the time the law requires. You will still receive non-marketing emails about requests you made.
5.9 Attorneys and business customers
If you are an attorney or law firm, by giving us your business or mobile number and email, you agree that freelegalquote.com, LLC may call, text, and email you about our lead-generation, AI automation, and site audit services, including through automated technology, prerecorded or artificial voice, and automated texts. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you may opt out as described in Section 5.6.
5.10 State-law notes
Many states have their own telemarketing, text-message, and call-recording laws in addition to federal law. Your consent under this Section is intended to satisfy the prior express written consent requirements of those laws to the extent they apply. In particular:
- State “mini-TCPA” laws. Florida (Fla. Stat. § 501.059), Oklahoma (15 O.S. § 775C.1 and following), and Maryland (Md. Code, Com. Law §§ 14-4501 to 14-4503) require prior express written consent for certain automated or recorded sales calls and texts, and generally limit sales calls to between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. local time and to no more than three calls in a 24-hour period about the same subject. Florida law also provides that, before bringing a claim about text messages, a person must first reply STOP and allow 15 days for the messages to stop. Your consent under this Section is intended to be “prior express written consent” under these laws.
- Texas. Texas law treats text messages as telephone solicitations (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code ch. 302, as amended effective September 1, 2025) and has its own calling-hour limits. Where Texas law requires a seller to register, we will register or rely on an available exemption, such as consumer consent.
- Washington. Washington restricts commercial text messages to a resident’s mobile phone unless the person has clearly and affirmatively consented in advance (RCW 19.190), and limits telephone solicitation hours. Your consent under this Section is intended to be that advance consent.
- Calling hours. Federal rules prohibit telephone solicitations before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. at the called party’s location. Several states set shorter windows or restrict Sundays and holidays, including Florida, Oklahoma, and Maryland (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.), Connecticut (9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.), Texas (shorter weekday and Sunday windows), and other states. We aim to follow the stricter rule that applies to your location.
- State do-not-call lists. Several states, such as Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Texas, keep their own do-not-call lists. Your consent applies to numbers on those lists as described in Section 5.3.
- All-party-consent recording states. California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Washington generally require, or may be read to require, the consent of all parties before a phone call is recorded. Oregon requires notice to all parties for in-person conversations. We treat every recorded call as requiring notice to, and consent from, all parties, regardless of where you are.
- Area code. Some state laws presume that a person with an in-state area code lives in that state. We may apply the rules for your area code, your ZIP code, or both.
5.11 Carrier and program notices
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging may not be available on all carriers or devices. Our separate Text Message Program Terms in Section 6 also apply.
5.12 Disputes about calls and texts
Claims relating to calls, texts, voicemails, or emails, including claims under the TCPA, state telemarketing laws, and state call-recording laws, are covered by the informal resolution, individual arbitration, and class action waiver provisions in Section 17, to the fullest extent the law allows. If you believe you received a call or text in error, please contact us first at legalquote@gmail.com so we can stop it right away.
6. Text Message Program Terms

- Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We share your number only with the participating attorneys matched to your request and with service providers that help us deliver messages, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Eligibility: You must be 18 or older and the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number.
7. Pay-Per-Lead and Promotional Lead Offers (Attorneys and Law Firms)
This Section applies to attorneys and law firms (“Attorney Customers”) that buy leads, lead-generation packages, or related marketing services from freelegalquote.com, LLC. Any signed order form or service agreement also applies. If it conflicts with this Section, the signed agreement controls.
7.1 What you are buying
- Advertising and marketing, not referrals. Fees paid to freelegalquote.com, LLC are payments for advertising, marketing, and lead-generation services. They are not payments for a recommendation of any attorney, are not a referral fee, and are not a share of any legal fee.
- Leads are inquiries, not clients. A “lead” is a consumer inquiry containing contact details and information the consumer chose to provide. It is not a retained client, a signed case, or a promise that the consumer will hire you or has a valid claim.
- Pricing. Leads may be priced per lead, by package, or by subscription, as stated in your order. Pricing depends on factors such as practice area, geography, volume, and exclusivity. Pricing is set in advance and does not depend on whether a consumer hires you, on the outcome of any matter, or on the amount of any legal fee you earn.
- Neutral delivery. Leads are routed using criteria such as practice area, location, availability, and the coverage you purchase. We do not vouch for, endorse, or recommend any Attorney Customer to consumers, and we do not tell consumers that we have analyzed their legal problem to select a particular lawyer.
- No fee-sharing. We will not accept, and you may not pay us, any part of a legal fee, a contingent fee, or any amount tied to a case result.
- No guarantee. We do not guarantee any number of leads (except as stated in a signed order), any contact or conversion rate, the accuracy of information a consumer supplies, the merits of any claim, or any revenue.
7.2 “5 free leads with purchase of a lead generation package” promotion
- Eligibility: New Attorney Customers who buy a qualifying paid lead-generation package, as identified at the time of purchase. One promotion per attorney or law firm, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Delivery: The five promotional leads are delivered in addition to the leads in your paid package, under the same targeting as your package, after your first payment clears. Promotional leads have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or credit, and are not eligible for replacement or refund.
- Same rules apply: Promotional leads are subject to every term in this Section, including no fee-sharing and no guarantee of conversion. The promotion is a marketing discount on advertising services, not a payment or benefit tied to any referral or case result.
- Changes: We may change, suspend, or end the promotion at any time, without affecting promotional leads already earned.
- Void where prohibited or restricted by law or by the rules of professional conduct that apply to you. If your jurisdiction does not permit you to accept free leads, you may decline them.
7.3 Your professional responsibility
- You are solely responsible for complying with the Rules of Professional Conduct, attorney advertising and solicitation rules, lawyer referral service rules, fee-sharing rules, and ethics opinions of every jurisdiction where you are licensed or where a consumer is located, including any filing, labeling, disclosure, or recordkeeping requirement for your advertising.
- You must not participate in our services in any state where your participation would violate the rules that apply to you. You agree to tell us right away if you believe any part of our services does not comply with those rules, so we can address it.
- You exercise your own independent professional judgment about whether to contact, accept, or decline any consumer, and about fees and engagement terms. We do not control or direct your legal work.
- You must comply with the TCPA, state telemarketing laws, call-recording laws, and CAN-SPAM when you contact consumers, honor any opt-out a consumer gives you or we pass to you, and contact consumers only about the request they submitted.
- You must hold an active license in good standing for the jurisdictions and practice areas you select, and tell us promptly of any suspension, discipline, or change.
- You agree to use leads only for the purpose of responding to the consumer’s request, to protect consumer information as confidential, and not to resell or share leads.
- You agree to indemnify freelegalquote.com, LLC for claims arising from your contact with consumers, your legal services, or your violation of the rules that apply to you.
7.4 Offer terms
Prices, packages, and promotions are subject to change. Offers are void where prohibited. Nothing in this Section is legal or ethics advice to any attorney. Attorneys should consult their state bar’s ethics resources or their own counsel about participation.
8. State-by-State Lawyer Referral and Lead Generation Disclosures
8.1 General disclosures that apply in every state
- Not a law firm. freelegalquote.com, LLC is not a law firm, does not practice law, and does not give legal advice.
- Not a certified or bar-approved referral service. freelegalquote.com, LLC is not a lawyer referral service certified, registered, sponsored, or approved by any state bar, court, or government agency, unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular state. No state bar or court has endorsed us.
- Attorneys pay us. Participating attorneys and law firms pay freelegalquote.com, LLC for advertising, marketing, and lead-generation services. They do not pay us for case results, and we do not share in any attorney’s legal fees.
- No paid recommendations. No attorney pays us to recommend or vouch for that attorney beyond advertising permitted by the rules that apply. A match is not a recommendation or a judgment about an attorney’s skill or the merits of your matter.
- How matches are made. Matches are based on general criteria such as the type of matter you select, your location, and which participating attorneys are available and have purchased coverage for that area and practice type.
- Attorney responsibility. Each attorney is solely responsible for complying with the Rules of Professional Conduct and advertising rules of the state or states where the attorney is licensed and practices.
- Attorney advertising. This Site and our ads may be considered attorney advertising. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. No guarantee is made about any result.
- Check credentials. You can confirm any attorney’s license and discipline history with the state bar or attorney licensing agency in your state.
8.2 Background
Every state and the District of Columbia regulates attorney advertising through rules of professional conduct, most of them based on the American Bar Association’s Model Rules. Most states have a version of ABA Model Rule 7.2(b), which generally prohibits a lawyer from giving anything of value to a person for recommending the lawyer’s services, but allows a lawyer to pay the reasonable cost of advertising and the usual charges of a legal service plan or a qualifying or not-for-profit lawyer referral service. The official comments to the Model Rule, and the rules or ethics opinions of many states, permit a lawyer to pay for client leads, such as internet-based leads, if the lead generator does not recommend the lawyer, the payment does not divide a legal fee or interfere with the lawyer’s independence, and the lead generator does not state or imply that it is recommending the lawyer, that the referral is free of charge to the lawyer, or that it has analyzed the person’s legal problem to choose a lawyer. A few states also regulate lawyer referral services by statute or court rule and require registration or certification. The summaries below are general information for consumers and attorneys, are not legal advice, may not reflect every rule, and may change. Rule numbers vary by state.

Lead pricing is not tied to retention or results.

- Pennsylvania: Pennsylvania’s Rule 7.2 prohibits paying for recommendations other than permitted advertising and the usual charges of a lawyer referral service or legal service plan. Its official comment permits paying for leads if the lead generator does not recommend the lawyer, does not imply that it has analyzed the person’s legal problem to choose a lawyer, and is paid consistently with the fee-division and independence rules. Pennsylvania also requires that, when a lawyer pays for advertising by a for-profit entity and will receive referrals from it, the advertisement disclose each paying lawyer or firm, their principal office address, and the basis on which referrals are made, and that lawyer advertisements disclose the city or town of the office where the lawyer principally practices. freelegalquote.com, LLC is not a registered or approved lawyer referral service in Pennsylvania.
- Rhode Island: Rules based on the ABA Model Rules restrict paying for recommendations and regulate attorney advertising. freelegalquote.com, LLC is not a registered or approved lawyer referral service in Rhode Island.

- Texas: Texas law (Occupations Code chapter 952) requires a lawyer referral service operating in Texas to hold a certificate, which is available only to governmental or qualifying nonprofit services. freelegalquote.com, LLC is not a certified lawyer referral service in Texas. Under Texas Disciplinary Rule 7.03, a Texas lawyer may pay a lead generator for leads only if the lead generator does not recommend the lawyer, does not analyze a person’s legal problem to choose the lawyer, and communicates consistently with Texas advertising rules. For Texas matters, freelegalquote.com, LLC provides lead-generation and advertising services only.
